Veronica Brown, Sandan, began training in the art of Aikido while living in Great Britain in 1984. As a member of the USAF, she traveled to many countries and states, not able to really dedicate consistent time and training in one location. Through her travels, she and her husband, Sensei David Brown, spread the art of Aikido classes at each home base. Having retired from the military in 1994, Sensei's Brown settled in St. Louis, Missouri. They built a private dojo in their back yard in 1998 and began teaching the Kai Shin Kai style of Aikido at that time. Sensei Veronica was awarded Sandan in November 2004, by Sensei's William Harris, 6th Dan, and Vincent Sumpter, 5th Dan. |
