Senior Instructors

Sensei Bill Harris 6th Dan, holds the title of Chairman. He started his Aikido over 30 years ago. He has developed his own distinctive style based on small relaxed movements which respond to the countering efforts of UKE. Bill was promoted to Rokudan in 1998 by the KSK and given the title of Chief Instructor for the organization. In addition to being Chief Instructor, Sensei Harris is also Chairman of the KSK Management Committee. Sensei William Harris
Vincent Sumpter 5th Dan, is the Secretary and Registrar of the KSK. He began his study of the other Aikido in Tokyo from 1974-77 as a personal student of Seijiro Masuda (now 8th dan) – a Hombu Dojo resident Shihan. Masuda Shihan was a personal student of O-Sensei in his later years with his peer group of Chiba, Yamada, Endo, Toyoda, Saotome. Sensei Sumpter also studied under Kanetsuka Sensei in England until joining the KSK. He was awarded his 5th Dan in 1998. He continues to make occasional trips to the Hombu Dojo to train.
